Diwali Style : lehnga

I eagerly await this time of the year, its the time for festivities and weddings..its the time for family, forgiveness, togetherness, joy, laughter, singing and dancing..
I absolutely love the little nip in the air, flowers blooming everywhere, the flicker of lights, the glitter on clothes, the strength of devotion, the aroma of delicious regional delicacies and the excitement of newness..
So what better way to celebrate all this than with a series of posts on Indian wear, starting with this one focusing on the lehnga (Indian maxi skirt), followed by a couple of posts on wearing this lehnga with a twist ;)

In this post the lehnga has been worn the traditional way with a choli (blouse) and a dupatta (stole)
The lehnga and dupatta are by designer Gopi Vaid.

I wore it for a garba function like this :).........

                                                     .................different dupatta and hair

I hope you enjoyed this post...please do leave your comments and please hit the like button below :)
Watch out for the next few posts on styling this lehnga in different ways :).....love...
