Sabyasachi Inspired Indian Fashion Dreams

Sabyasachi Inspired Indian Fashion Dreams

Indian Fashion, Indian Designers and Sabyasachi Mukherjee have become synonyms of sorts.

There cannot be a mention of Indian Fashion without a mention of Sabyasachi. Can tell that I am a big Sabya fan yet??
Well...I am an Indian girl who loves Indian Fashion and Indian Designers...so how can I not be his fan.
His clothes are earthy and rooted in Indian traditions and yet they are contemporary enough to be worn anywhere in the world, and be appreciated.
They have such a beautiful vintage vibe about them, but can make any modern princess go weak in the knees.
Each piece is unique and yet there is a common thread that harmonizes them all and makes them distinctly Sabya designs.
I wish to soon become a collector of his pieces, but meanwhile I am a collector of images of his pieces...sigh!! I have a giant folder that holds center space on my desktop, and I keep this vintage treasure of mine, heavily guarded by all the modern digital security codes available. I unlock occasionally, to ogle, to wish, to dream, to pay my respect and to pray.

So on one such customary unlocking, I noticed this picture....and something drew me to it...it is so simple and yet so stunning. It talks to me, tells me a story about a girl who lived a fashionable life a long time ago, a girl so simple and yet so elegant.
