Mahabaleshwar Holiday At Brightland ResortAfter the Lakme Fashion Week frenzy, it was time for some family frenzy as we headed to Mahabaleshwar for a much needed 3 day break. We packed bag baggage kids and unknowingly the monsoon in full fury too...
The drive was beautiful, everything was lush, green and glowing. We crossed moss covered walls and wooden bridges with water brimming under, we drove through fluffy white clouds and almost touched them too.
We stayed at The Brightland Resort, a quaint, cute place which really should be enjoyed when it is not pouring. The rooms were gorgeous too, with a picturesque view of the valley. The only thing that ruined it for us was the constant rain, being restricted to a hotel room with 2 little kids is really no vacation, far from it...trust me..
So we cut our "vacation" short and headed home, happy to be greeted by the sun in Pune..
I did however, manage to get a few pictures of what I wore on our cold and rainy one day vacation.
If you are heading to Mahabaleshhwar, I would advise you to skip the monsoons, because it really does POUR there. Brightland Resort is a lovely place to stay the food is good too (That is one imp factor for us). Another place I have heard great things about is the Evershine Keys Resort, (I hear food is better there) Yay!!
Oh and some exciting news, the gorgeous Sunaina of memorableindianweddings.com interviewed me. It was such a fun chat and made me feel so important, my first ever interview!! do check it out :) Thanks Sunaina.
