Lakme India Fashion Week: Day 1

How I love Fashion Week...so much to look at, so much to take in...everything fresh, everything new...I could just live off the excitement and activity.
This Fashion Week is no different...fresh new designers and labels have taken the center stage, gone are the same old established ones instead we see a fresh new crop of designers ready to take on the world..
Day 1 saw many designers like Pia Pauro, Ritu Beri and Pallavi Jaikaishan, however the collections that stood out for me were Vizyon and Payal Singhal.
Here are a few of my favourite pieces from both the collections

Vizyon (Shradha Murarka) : "Enlightenet Shadows"
Vizyon is a fashion house established in 2006 in Kolkata. This collection is a heady mix of gothic, geometry, architecture and structure and surprisingly all this in neon and bright colours..love it.

PAYAL SINGHAL:
Great use of colours, love the ocean hues also dont miss the maang tikkas (yes iv been obsessing over them as you can see here and here)
She retails out of Payal Singhal, Chamomile, Amara and Fuel in Mumbai and from Samsaara and Aza in Delhi

Will be back soon with the Day 2 of LIFW.
